Lubartów is a city with sports traditions. Since 1923, there has been the LEWART football club, which in its history has played successfully several times at the levels of the Third Football League and in the Polish Cup.

It is worth mentioning here that several Lewart players made their debut even at the national team level. Additionally, in 1960 the Lewart Lubartów table tennis club was established and successfully teaches the next generation by playing in the First Table Tennis League.

Another and one of the most successful clubs is MKS Lewart AGS Lubartów - Taekwon-do ITF. The Taekwon-Do section is known all over the world and among the competitors there are many world and European champions - the inhabitants of Lubartów. The coaching staff are champions with the highest DAN ranks. Additionally, the President of the Polish Taekwon-Do Association is Mr. Jerzy Jedut - from Lubartów, a master and an excellent trainer.

Lubartów is also cycling. The Boras Lewart Team Lubartów Cycling Group was established, which proudly represents our city in many races in the country and abroad. In order to be able to practice sports at such a high level, you need the support of the town hall and an appropriate structure of sports facilities. There are excellent conditions for sports in Lubartów.

There is a complex of sports fields MOSIR with full-size natural and artificial turf and appropriate facilities. There are football schools where children can develop their skills under the supervision of professional coaches with PZPN certificates.

The table tennis section and the Taekwon-do section are also developing dynamically.

Lubartów is a perfect place for sports.
